A woman who has had a previous cesarean-section does have a choice when planning to give birth again. It was once thought that if you have had a cesarean-section for a previous child you needed to deliver all other babies in the same way. The good news is, it is possible to try a vaginal delivery if you wish. Women can undergo a trial of labor after a cesarean delivery; 60-80% of women are able to give birth vaginally after a cesarean, commonly known as VBAC.
