Dr. Christopher Bloss is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. He currently provides gynecology care for his patients at Capital Region Women’s Care, a GYN-only practice in Troy and Clifton Park. He earned his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Bloss’s personal experiences—particularly the births of his six children with his wife—have profoundly influenced his approach to patient care. He is known for dedicating ample time to patient communication and education, ensuring that every individual feels informed and supported throughout their care journey.
Specializing in advanced, minimally invasive surgical techniques, Dr. Bloss is certified in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery within the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He is trained in leading-edge procedures, including outpatient robotic and laparoscopic hysterectomies, which promote faster recovery and a quicker return to daily life.
He has a particular clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of chronic pelvic pain and is an active member of the International Pelvic Pain Society.
