Biography

Caitlyn Sartori is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in gynecology at Capital Region Women’s Care. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Caitlyn earned her Master of Science in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, her Bachelor of Science in nursing from SUNY Delhi in Delhi, NY, and her Associate of Science in nursing from Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson, NY.

Originally from Hudson, Caitlyn spent much of her nursing career working in critical care. During her women and children’s rotation as part of her FNP training, she discovered a passion for gynecology—driven by the realization that many women lack education about their own bodies. This experience shaped her commitment to educating and empowering women to better understand themselves and take an active role in their health and well-being.
Caitlyn knew early on that a career in medicine was her calling. As the daughter of a nurse, healthcare felt like a natural path, beginning with her first job as a candy striper at age 15. Some of her most meaningful memories include studying for her nursing boards alongside her mother and later having the opportunity to work beside her as a fellow nurse.

Caitlyn’s favorite part of her work is teaching. She believes women deserve clear, honest education about what is normal versus abnormal as their bodies change throughout different stages of life. She prioritizes listening closely to her patients, understanding their concerns and symptoms, and creating a comfortable, judgment-free environment—even when conversations feel awkward or sensitive. Caitlyn has a particular interest in educating patients about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and menopause.

Outside of work, Caitlyn spends much of her time cheering on her two children at the pool, where they compete in swimming. She also enjoys music, musicals, movies, and trips to the ocean.
